Job Summary 📋

• Conduct market research to understand consumer requirements, habits, and trends.
• Assist in outbound and inbound marketing activities through content development, advertising, event planning, and optimization.
• Coordinate with vendors to execute brand awareness and marketing efforts.
• Manage individual tasks within marketing and purchasing plans as assigned.
• Develop and maintain customer accounts, fostering ongoing relationships.
• Monitor market conditions, product innovations, and competitors’ products, pricing, and sales strategies.
• Respond to customer inquiries about products, prices, availability, and uses.
• Recommend products based on customer needs and interests.
• Consult with customers to resolve issues and provide support.

Qualifications & Skills 🎓

Education/Experience

• College graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Excellent Japanese language skills: reading, writing, and speaking.
• Strong English language skills: reading, writing, and speaking.
• Knowledge of Japanese business culture is a plus.
• Experience in Asian food or non-food manufacturing/distribution industry preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Ability to use Illustrator and/or Photoshop is preferred.
• Valid driver’s license is required.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States long-term.
