As an Optometrist with us, you will deliver comprehensive eye care, including exams, diagnosing ocular diseases, and prescribing glasses. Our practice emphasizes refractive services like myopia control for children and laser vision correction. We're looking for someone who is passionate about providing compassionate, top-quality care to our diverse patient community.

🎯 Duties and Responsibilities

• Patient Education: Educate patients on eye health, vision correction options, and preventive care 🔍
• Prescriptions: Prescribe eyeglasses and contact lenses 👓
• Diagnostic Work: Diagnose and manage ocular diseases such as dry eyes, glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, and macular degeneration 🩺
• Collaborative Care: Work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care 🤝
• Continual Learning: Keep abreast of the latest advancements in optometry, treatments, and regulations 📚
• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate medical records in accordance with legal and company policies 📝
• Community Outreach: Participate in educational programs and outreach activities related to eye health 🌍

✅ Requirements

• Bilingual English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin) required 🈶️🈚️
• Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited optometry school 🎓
• Current, unrestricted New York State license 📝
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 💬
