Role Description

We are seeking a Part-Time Remote Online Italian Teacher for Children. Teachers should be proficient with Zoom and online tools for games, YouTube, and using Zoom annotation features. Our methodology is story-based learning, utilizing beginner readers Salt, Pepper, and Sunny to promote comprehension and communication skills, making language learning accessible and enjoyable.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience teaching children online with engaging, interactive methods 😊
• A passion for prioritizing comprehension & communication over heavy grammar focus 🗣️
• Familiarity with or willingness to use Salt, Pepper, and Sunny beginner readers 📚
• Availability for 2–3 evening sessions per week (times to be discussed) 🌙
• Strong organizational and lesson-planning skills 📝

Responsibilities Include

• Teaching Italian to children in a fun, engaging way 🎉
• Creating and adapting lesson plans based on student progress 📈
• Supporting students in building confidence in their language skills 💪
• Utilizing Salt, Pepper, and Sunny as core learning tools 🧂🌶️
• Joining us in making language learning an exciting journey for kids everywhere! 🌟

Compensation: $30 per hour 💵

Qualifications

• Experience in Spanish teaching and tutoring skills 🇪🇸
• Lesson planning and curriculum development expertise 📝
• Excellent teaching skills 🌟
• Proficient in Zoom and its annotation tools 🖍️

Additional Beneficial Qualifications:

• Experience in online language education 💻
• Fluency in Italian 🇮🇹
• Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field 🎓
