Overview

Language Services Associates (LSA) is seeking talented Mandarin interpreters to join our network of Independently Contracted Interpreters. In this role, you will facilitate meaningful language interaction in diverse settings such as medical, legal, and customer service environments. We are continuously welcoming qualified interpreters for a variety of assignments!

🎯 Responsibilities:

• Provide superior customer service to clients and stakeholders
• Adhere to the Code of Professional Conduct, including maintaining strict confidentiality standards 🔒
• Follow all policies and procedures, including industry-specific interpretation protocols and best practices
• Complete training(s) and participate in ongoing Quality Assurance monitoring 🚀

📝 Qualifications & Experience:

• Full fluency in both English and Mandarin
• Knowledge of industry standard best practices such as professionalism, courtesy, protocol, and confidentiality
• Ability to deliver high-level client service
• Access to personal or public transportation
• 2+ years of professional interpreting experience preferred
• Industry-specific certifications/trainings (e.g., CMI, CCHI) preferred
