HeyTutor has partnered with a school district in New York to hire dedicated Spanish Bilingual ELA Tutors to assist students in grades K-2. If you're enthusiastic about education, reliable, and eager to help bridge learning gaps, this opportunity is perfect for you! 🧑‍🏫✨

📌 Key Details

• Location: New York School District (In-Person)
• Student Grades: K-2nd grade
• Schedule: 8:00am - 12:30pm, Monday to Friday
• Pay Rate: $32 - $38 per hour (depends on education and experience)
• Requirements: Bilingual in Spanish, Bachelor's degree, Tutoring experience, Clear FBI-DOJ background check, Comfortable working in a classroom setting
• Background Check: Must pass an in-person background check

🎓 Responsibilities

• Supervise student groups independently during tutoring sessions
• Prepare and organize tutoring space
• Pick up and drop off students from designated school areas (if applicable)
• Take attendance and manage lessons via HeyTutor Dashboard
• Document student progress and facilitate assessments as required
• Lead engaging tutoring sessions using provided curriculum and materials
• Create a positive and inclusive environment that encourages belonging
• Support students in making positive behavioral choices
• Interact actively during lessons alongside students
• Clock in and out daily via Deputy
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management or school staff
