Job Summary 📝
We are seeking a dedicated clinical leader to oversee our NB virtual care clinic, ensuring high standards of patient care and service excellence. The role includes developing evidence-based policies, monitoring quality, collaborating with medical and operational teams, engaging external partners, and supporting patient communication to drive program success.
Key Responsibilities 🔑
- Provide clinical leadership and mentorship to autonomous nurse practitioners delivering virtual primary care.
- Act as a clinical resource for complex or high-acuity cases, supporting operational efficiency and patient safety.
- Foster a collaborative environment respecting NP autonomy and scope of practice.
- Ensure consistent, evidence-informed virtual care across the team.
- Serve as the on-call NP for clinical consultation and escalation support.
- Guide real-time clinical decision-making alongside Medical Advisors for complex cases.
- Identify trends, risks, and areas for improvement in virtual service delivery.
- Ensure practice aligns with NANB standards, provincial regulations, and NP scope of practice.
- Participate in incident investigations, review patient complaints, and support clinical risk mitigation.
- Contribute to the development and enhancement of clinical policies and protocols.
- Support new clinical initiatives and service enhancements.
- Engage with medical advisors, leadership, and external stakeholders for ongoing clinical review.
- Review clinical program reports and support data-driven improvements.
- Maintain compliance with SLAs and contractual obligations.
- Assist in patient communication and follow-up in complex cases when necessary.
Qualifications & Skills ✅
- Minimum 3-5 years of Nurse Practitioner experience, preferably in primary or urgent care, with strong diagnostic skills.
- Experience in virtual care/telehealth is an asset.
- Proficiency in quality improvement, clinical governance, and case review processes.
- Understanding of high-volume virtual care and contact centre operations, KPIs, SLAs, and clinical reporting.
- Previous leadership experience in a clinical setting is preferred.
- Master of Nursing (MN) with a focus on Nurse Practitioner certification.
- Valid licenses with NANB (in good standing) and provincial regulatory bodies.
- Optional: CNA telehealth/virtual care certifications.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate complex information clearly.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Compensation & Benefits 💰
We offer a competitive package, including:
- Base Salary: $130,000 annually (commensurate with experience)
- Quarterly Bonus: Performance-based bonuses tied to individual or business performance
- Bilingual Premium: Additional annual compensation for bilingual candidates
