Join our dynamic voice-data / speech-technology team as we build a comprehensive Swiss multilingual speech dataset. We're currently recruiting native speakers living in Switzerland for paid remote recording opportunities. This is a real and impactful project! 🎙️

What the project involves

Participants will record short scripted lines on their phones in various everyday environments such as at home, during commutes, at work, or out and about. Our goal is to capture natural, real-world speech. Clear, step-by-step instructions will be provided, and no prior experience beyond being a native speaker with a quiet recording environment is required.

How it works

• All recordings are compensated, including the initial qualifying round.
• Begin by recording 5 short scripted lines, paid at $1 each, to ensure audio quality and correct following of instructions.
• Participants who pass the qualifying round will proceed to the main batch, earning $80 for their contributions.
• Reliable contributors can participate in weekly batches.
• Payments are made promptly through Upwork upon approval.

Requirements

• Currently residing in Switzerland.
• Native speaker of Swiss German, French, or Italian.
• Able to follow simple recording instructions precisely.
