🔹 Job Summary
Perform Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) procedures at a safe and experienced level without direct supervision. Our team is united by the mission to create a healthier community—one person at a time. We are dedicated to fostering a culture focused on delivering optimal patient outcomes.
🔹 Key Responsibilities
- Assist the department with daily operations and participate in on-call and holiday coverage as required.
- Transport patients to and from the imaging area when necessary.
- Support Sr. Technologist by maintaining the Performance Improvement Program, including recording volume indicators such as the number and types of procedures performed to meet departmental goals.
- Help maintain inventory and stock necessary supplies in the assigned area.
- Perform MRI procedures using prescribed techniques and review exam orders to ensure they align with the purpose of the exam.
- Contact the ordering provider for any necessary order adjustments.
- Focus on safety for patients, co-workers, and self by adhering to infection control and safety policies.
- Adjust and modify patient care based on age and condition.
- Comply with fire safety and infection control standards.
- Clean and maintain equipment according to departmental procedures and report inoperable or unsafe equipment for servicing.
🔹 Education & Certifications
- Required: Associate's Degree
- Required Certifications:
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Registered MRI Technologist
🔹 Work Schedule & Compensation
This position is scheduled for a 4x10 shift, running from 11:00 AM to 9:30 PM.
Enjoy a sign-on bonus of $10,000 plus applicable evening shift differential.
