Job Overview
As a Mobile Associate, Store-in-Store, you will be a vital part of the Retail Team, bringing the T-Mobile brand to life within National Sales partner locations. Your role involves active engagement with customers, creating energy and excitement around our products and services. You thrive in high-traffic environments, constantly evolving with technology innovations and customer needs. Your passion for building relationships, educating customers, and exceeding performance targets makes you an essential part of our success!
Key Responsibilities
- Proactive Customer Engagement: Interact with a diverse range of customers in high-traffic retail settings, utilizing digital tools to educate and showcase T-Mobile solutions. 📱
- Solution-Based Selling: Leverage self-serve tools during customer interactions, identify needs, and recommend wireless and onboarding solutions to deepen relationships and ensure satisfaction.
- Training & Development: Complete training on store experience, new products, systems, and resources. Review promotions and updates regularly to stay customer-ready. Collaborate with nearby stores for smooth onboarding and perform store operations including opening/closing procedures and secure kiosk management.
- Exceptional Customer Service: Connect personally with customers to build trust and loyalty. Follow up, manage referrals, and proactively drive sales. perform price overrides for special offers when needed. 😊
- Relationship Building: Develop strong relationships with local leadership and teams to support account setup, device support, and client servicing.
Qualifications
Education and Work Experience
- High School Diploma or GED (Required)
- At least 6 months in customer service or sales, preferably in retail
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Customer Satisfaction: Passionate about delivering excellent customer experiences while meeting performance goals. ❤️
- Team Building: Willing to collaborate with store peers and leaders, sharing best practices.
- Retail Sales: Competitive spirit and confidence to succeed in a fast-paced environment.
Licenses & Certifications
- At least 18 years old
- Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
Additional Details
- Travel: No travel required ✈️
- DOT Regulation: Not regulated
- Hourly Pay: $21.50 + $5.00 training pay per hour
Compensation & Benefits
During the first 90 days, receive on-the-job training with eligible training pay. Upon promotion to Mobile Expert, you become eligible for an annual incentive target of $18,000/year (performance-based). All employees earn at least $20/hour including incentives. Plus, every employee is eligible for an annual stock grant! 💼
