Key Responsibilities
- Conduct culturally sensitive, strength-based assessments for new clients and families, creating a welcoming and understanding environment for diverse backgrounds.
- Provide tailored outpatient individual and family therapy based on the unique needs and circumstances of each client, fostering healing and resilience.
- Develop comprehensive safety, crisis, relapse prevention, and wellness plans to support clients' stability and empower their mental health journey.
- Actively participate in case consultations, agency meetings, and discharge planning, contributing your expertise to enhance client care.
- Ensure timely completion of billing, documentation, treatment plans, and insurance authorization forms, maintaining the highest professional standards.
- Engage in collaborative care with psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, dietitians, administrative staff, and fellow therapists to deliver holistic mental health care.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Counseling, or a related field.
- If required, a provisional license per state regulation.
- Educational background leading to or resulting in professional licensing.
- Passionate about mental health and dedicated to providing high-quality care.
- Committed to ongoing professional development, including free supervision and continuing education.
- Enthusiastic about collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to enhance client outcomes.
- Strong ethical practice and commitment to confidentiality.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build rapport with clients and families.
- Effective time management to complete documentation and administrative tasks efficiently.

Compensation & Equity
Columbia Mental Health values fair and equitable pay. The base compensation for this role ranges from $47 – $55 per billable unit. Actual pay may vary based on factors such as licensure, experience, market conditions, and incentive opportunities. These ranges reflect our current standards and are subject to adjustment to remain competitive and aligned with organizational goals.
