About the Job  🩺

As the Front Desk Receptionist, you will be the first contact for patients, ensuring a smooth, efficient, and friendly experience while providing essential administrative support.

Key Responsibilities  🎯

• Greeting patients and families: Welcome everyone warmly to create a friendly atmosphere.
• Registering patients: Collect and verify demographic and insurance information accurately.
• Answering calls: Respond to inquiries professionally and courteously from patients, families, and providers.
• Patient triage: Direct patient questions to the appropriate healthcare staff.
• Financial transactions: Collect payments, process insurance claims, and explain policies.
• Record maintenance: Keep patient records confidential and HIPAA-compliant.
• Coordinate care: Work with nursing and medical staff to ensure smooth patient flow.
• Team collaboration: Work alongside front desk and healthcare team members for seamless care.
• Training and updates: Participate in training sessions on clinic policies and protocols.
• Foster a positive environment: Promote teamwork, communication, and mutual respect.

Qualifications  ✔️

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; healthcare admin training preferred.
• Experience: Prior work in a medical or healthcare setting, customer service experience advantageous.
• Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Technical proficiency: Familiarity with EMR systems, Microsoft Office, and scheduling software.
• Organization: Attention to detail with the ability to prioritize tasks.
• Professionalism: Stay calm and professional in fast-paced situations.
• Customer service: Dedication to providing outstanding patient experiences.
• Additional knowledge: Medical terminology and insurance procedures are a plus.

• Type: Part-time, Full-time options available
• Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
• Expected hours: 20 - 28 hours/week
