About the Role

As a Massage Therapist at the YMCA, you will provide exceptional massage services aimed at relieving pain and promoting overall health. Your contribution will support members' quality of life within a safe and engaging atmosphere, aligned with YMCA policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform massage therapy for YMCA members utilizing a variety of techniques.
• Develop and propose personalized treatment plans tailored to client needs.
• Consult with clients regarding medical histories and pain or stress issues to determine massage suitability.
• Build positive relationships with participants, offering motivational support and guidance.
• Raise awareness about healthy lifestyle factors among participants.
• Maintain program facilities and equipment, focusing on safety and health standards, and coordinate repairs when needed.
• Accurately document all massage sessions and related records.
• Participate in staff meetings and trainings as required.
• Adhere to YMCA policies, including emergency procedures and safety regulations.
• Share knowledge of program areas with members and participants.
• Complete incident and accident reports as necessary.
• Embed the YMCA's mission, philosophy, and core values into all communications.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support team efforts.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Current CPR/AED/BBP certification (within 30 days of hire).
• Valid State of Colorado Massage License.

Benefits & Compensation

• Hourly Rate: $22.00 - $32.00, based on experience and education 💰
• Bilingual Bonus: +10% differential for fluent Spanish and English speakers testing as fluent 🗣️
