Position: Odoo Retail Inventory Mandarin Speaking Staff Accountant

Location: Branchburg, NJ

Salary Range: $65,000 - $85,000

💼 Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled, experienced Staff Accountant specializing in retail inventory management with proficiency in Mandarin. You will be a key player in our finance team, responsible for overseeing inventory accounting processes, ensuring precision, and applying best practices to optimize operations. A strategic mindset, attention to detail, and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting are essential.

🎯 Responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of U.S. GAAP.
• Perform monthly bank and credit card reconciliations within Odoo.
• Conduct monthly receipt reconciliations and process reimbursements.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, including sending and processing invoices.
• Prepare journal entries related to accounting activities.
• Analyze accounting issues, develop solutions, and evaluate information to address key issues.
• Support other accounting projects and functions as needed.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures to ensure compliance and accuracy.

🧑‍🎓 Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance; Master’s preferred.
• At least 2 years of full-time accounting experience.
• Solid understanding of GAAP.
• Proficiency with accounting software such as QuickBooks; Odoo experience is highly preferred.
• Experience in inventory and logistics accounting is a plus.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously.
• Experience in retail, restaurant, or similar multi-location industries across various states.
• Fluent in Chinese (Mandarin).
