🌟 Position Overview

The Manager Trainee role is a long-term, transitional position designed to prepare individuals for store management roles. Trainees will undergo comprehensive cross-training across all crew-level positions, acquiring the necessary skills to supervise and execute various duties effectively.

🛠️ Required Skills & Abilities

  • Preferably a Junior Executive in Food/Beverage/Restaurant Service or equivalent
  • Multilingual proficiency is an advantage, especially for oversea assignments 🌐
  • Hardworking with strong professional dedication
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong teamwork spirit
  • Ability to obtain the California Food Handler Certificate 🍽️

💪 Physical Requirements

  • Lift, carry, deliver, or serve items weighing 20-40 pounds throughout an 8-hour shift
  • Balance serving trays during food transfer
  • Stand and walk continuously for 6-8 hours
  • Bend, stoop, and reach for products and items
  • Work in varying temperatures, from cold storage to hot kitchen areas
  • Maintain cleanliness and safety standards at the work station

🎓 Education & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in any field required
  • Previous relevant experience is a plus, but full training will be provided for newcomers
  • California Food Handler Certificate required
  • Fluent in English; Mandarin and Spanish are preferred languages

📋 Duties & Responsibilities

  • Participate in training across various departments such as Service, Kitchen, and Support functions
  • Gain thorough understanding of restaurant operations through rotation
  • Learn from experienced staff about procedures, methods, and standards
  • Develop skills to independently manage restaurant operations
  • Achieve performance goals set by management
  • Regularly monitor and discuss performance and progress with supervisors
  • Set new personal and professional goals post-training in collaboration with management
  • Provide support across departments as needed
  • Complete ad-hoc tasks assigned by supervisors
  • Perform other duties as required to ensure smooth operations
