Position Overview: Manager of Business Intelligence (Finance)

Reporting to: Vice President, Financial Planning & Analysis

We are seeking an experienced and innovative Manager of Business Intelligence (Finance) to lead and shape our financial strategy. In this pivotal role, you will guide a talented team of data scientists and analysts, develop sophisticated models, and leverage machine learning and predictive analytics to enhance forecasting and budgeting. Collaborate closely with finance and operations teams to turn large datasets, including blockchain data, into clear, actionable insights that influence senior leadership decision-making.

Note: This role is based in NYC and requires working from our office near Union Square at least 3 days per week. Workdays will be adjusted based on business needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead with Impact: Mentor data scientists and analysts to develop financial models and analytical tools supporting FP&A functions.
• Innovate Financial Strategy: Design and implement machine learning models and predictive analytics to revolutionize financial forecasting, budgeting, and scenario planning.
• Translate Data into Action: Collaborate with FP&A, accounting, and operations teams to identify needs and develop data-driven solutions aligned with strategic goals.
• Visualize Insights: Oversee dynamic dashboards and visualization tools providing real-time critical financial metrics.
• Uncover Opportunities: Analyze blockchain transaction data and other complex datasets to identify trends, risks, and growth opportunities.
• Ensure Data Integrity: Maintain high standards for data accuracy, security, and integrity across all platforms.
• Influence Leadership: Present insights and strategic recommendations to senior leadership, translating complex data into clear business decisions.

Experience & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Finance, Economics, or related fields.
• 7+ years of experience in data science, financial analytics, or similar roles.
• Deep expertise in machine learning, statistical modeling, and predictive analytics.
• Proficiency with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau) and programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL.
• Strong background with financial data, FP&A processes, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Exceptional problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills to thrive in a high-growth environment.
• Familiarity with cryptocurrency, blockchain technology, and digital asset management is preferred but not required.

Compensation & Benefits 💰

The anticipated base salary ranges from $160,000 - $220,000, complemented by discretionary annual bonuses, performance incentives, and benefits. Salary offers will reflect experience and skills.
