Ideal Candidate Profile <😊>

• Voice Quality: Soothing, confident, and emotionally engaging
• Tone: Smooth and sexy storytelling style
• Language Skills: Native-level or highly fluent English
• Pronunciation: Strong Italian pronunciation and fluency
• Accent: No noticeable American accent when speaking Italian
• Experience: Prior audiobook narration experience preferred

Since the audiobook includes English narration and Italian dialogue in later chapters, authentic Italian pronunciation is essential for this role.

Budget & Compensation 💰

$50 per finished hour (PFH) — flexible based on experience and quality.

• Meet ACX technical and audio standards
• Properly mastered final audio
• Pass ACX approval requirements
• Clean audio with no background noise, distortion, or clipping

Familiarity with ACX Standards 🔧

• ACX RMS levels
• Peak levels
• Noise floor requirements
• Audiobook mastering standards

Audition Submission Guidelines 🎧

Please include in your submission:

• A short audiobook-style sample in English
• A single sentence translated into Italian and spoken naturally

We will be specifically evaluating:

• Voice quality and tone
• Storytelling ability
• Natural pacing
• Emotional delivery
• Italian fluency and pronunciation
