Position Summary 🎯

The Washington Nationals are seeking a licensed massage therapist to assist with the preventative and restorative soft tissue management for players and staff during the Major League season. This role includes supporting injury rehabilitation in collaboration with the Medical Department. As a full-time, salaried position, travel with the Major League team is expected.

Primary Responsibilities 📝

  • Collaborate with the Medical Department to address player injuries, support rehabilitation, and flag potential issues.
  • Develop and implement care plans in coordination with medical staff.
  • Foster a positive, professional, and friendly environment for players and staff.
  • Maintain treatment schedules, manage treatment areas, and ensure sanitization procedures are followed.
  • Document treatment plans and progress for the Director of Athletic Training.

Qualifications ✅

  • Must be licensed in accordance with Washington, DC licensing laws and regulations.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent cross-departmental collaboration skills.
  • Passionate about learning, growth, and professional development aligned with organizational values.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred.

Compensation 💰

The annual salary range for this position is projected between $85,000 - $100,000. Actual pay depends on qualifications, skills, experience, education, certifications, and other organizational requirements. Entry-level salaries may be below the top of this range.
