🔖 About the Role

Location: Cupertino, CA / On-Site

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday; 8 hours/day

Employment Type: Full-time

Estimated Start Date: May 2025

Salary Range: $90,000 - $95,000 yearly

🏢 Role Summary

As a Senior Machine Learning Engineer, you will help us develop scalable ML solutions focused on feature development, utterance understanding, and natural language generation across various languages. You will work at the forefront of multilingualism and agentic Large Language Models (LLMs), requiring hands-on development, cross-team collaboration, and a deep understanding of large-scale ML systems.

🎯 Responsibilities

• Work on state-of-the-art solutions involving agentic LLMs and multilingual learning
• Understand and influence how LLMs acquire capabilities across different languages
• Design and implement systems for multilingual data creation and filtering
• Develop scalable methods for fine-tuning LLMs in multiple languages
• Create automated evaluation systems for multilingual agent performance
• Enhance existing ML systems and infrastructure
• Build and deploy ML-powered products for global users
• Coordinate with engineering and research teams to align product goals

🎓 Qualifications

• Master’s or PhD in Machine Learning, Computational Linguistics, or equivalent experience
• 2+ years of experience in software engineering or applied ML
• Proficiency in Python and ML frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow)
• Experience with large-scale ML systems, LLMs, or NLP architectures
• Proven track record of shipping impactful ML products
• Strong understanding of multilingual datasets and cross-lingual challenges
• Excellent communication skills and team collaboration experience
• Fluency in English

🌟 Preferred Skills

• Experience with agent-based architectures, LLM fine-tuning, and evaluation
• Background in multilingual or cross-lingual NLP
• Building tools for automated data generation, augmentation, or filtering
• Knowledge of evaluation metrics for LLMs and conversational agents
• Language experience: Danish, Swedish, Dutch, Vietnamese, Turkish, Chinese, Portuguese, Arabic, Finnish, Hebrew, Hindi, Malay, or Thai (desirable)
