- Salary Range: $70,977 - $75,301
- Salary Scale: Minimum pay determined by rank/step at appointment (see Salary Scale Table 15)

Position Description
The Literatures of the World Section within the Department of Literature is hiring a part-time instructor for Fall 2026 to teach three intermediate French courses during the academic year:
- Designing syllabi and teaching courses 2A, 2B, 2C
- Administering and scoring placement exams during Winter and Spring quarters
- Processing enrollment requests via EASy during Winter and Spring quarters
- Holding office hours for student support
Qualifications 💼
Basic Qualifications (Required at Time of Application):
- M.A. in French, French Literature, French Linguistics, or a related field
- Ph.D. in French, French Literature, French Linguistics, or a related field
- Experience teaching French language and literature
