Position Summary

We are looking for caring, energetic, and dependable Lead Teachers and Assistant Teachers to join our expanding team. Your role will involve creating a positive classroom atmosphere where children can flourish socially, emotionally, and academically.

Responsibilities

• Support daily classroom activities and lesson plans
• Foster a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment
• Maintain proper staff-to-child ratios at all times
• Actively engage and interact with children throughout the day
• Assist with child observations and progress tracking
• Communicate professionally and positively with parents and families
• Help keep classrooms clean, organized, and well-setup
• Participate in staff meetings and required training sessions
• Support outdoor play, learning activities, and transitions

Qualifications

• Child Development Associate (CDA), Associate’s Degree, or coursework in Early Childhood Education preferred
• Minimum 1 year of childcare or classroom experience preferred
• Spanish-speaking applicants preferred
• Passion for working with children
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Reliable, positive, and proactive attitude
• Willingness to complete Maryland state training requirements
