Current Job Opportunity

We are seeking a passionate Brazilian Portuguese teacher for a client in Plano. The details of the position are as follows:

• Face-to-face conversational classes tailored for a private student at his home in Plano, TX 75075
• Course duration: 32 hours (16 lessons of 2 hours each)
• Schedule: Once a week, preferably on Fridays, with some flexibility on days and afternoons
• Desired start date: December 11th

About the Student

• Language level: Beginner to Elementary, with some experience using Duolingo in the past year
• Motivation: Engages with native Portuguese (Brazilian) speakers and aims to improve understanding and conversational skills
• Focus areas: Listening and Speaking

Ideal Teacher Profile

• Be a native speaker of Portuguese OR hold a teaching degree
• Have experience as a language teacher, translator, or interpreter
• Possess a valid working visa
• Live within 20 miles of the client's location

Additional Information

The schedule and location are flexible based on mutual availability. The hourly rate is negotiable depending on your qualifications and experience. Please note this is a freelance, part-time position, and we are unable to sponsor visas.
