Overview

Language Services Associates (LSA) is seeking Korean interpreters in the Dulles, VA area. As part of LSA’s network of Independently Contracted Interpreters, you'll help bridge communication gaps for the Limited English Proficient (LEP) community across various settings, including medical, legal, and customer service environments. LSA continually welcomes qualified interpreters for a broad spectrum of assignments!

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service 🤝
• Adhere to the Code of Professional Conduct, maintaining strict confidentiality standards 🔒
• Follow all policies, interpretation protocols, and industry best practices 📝
• Complete training sessions and participate in ongoing Quality Assurance monitoring 🎓

Qualifications & Experience

• Full fluency in both English and Korean 💬
• Familiarity with industry standards such as professionalism, courtesy, protocol, and confidentiality 🤝
• Ability to deliver high-level client service 🌟
• Access to personal or public transportation 🚗
• 2+ years of professional interpreting experience (preferred) 🗓️
• Industry-specific certifications/trainings such as CMI, CCHI (preferred) 🎓
