📚 Job Description
As an Elementary Judaic Studies Morah, you will inspire young learners by integrating Sephardic traditions and values into daily instruction, guiding students in their spiritual and character growth within a warm classroom setting.
Responsibilities Include
- Teaching Judaic studies subjects such as Chumash, Parasha, Tefillah, Middot, Yom Tov, and Ivrit
- Creating engaging, age-appropriate lessons that reflect Sephardic traditions and values
- Guiding students in meaningful tefillah and positive character development
- Differentiating instruction to meet the needs of all learners
- Fostering a respectful and joyful classroom rooted in Torah values
- Collaborating with general studies staff and administration
- Communicating regularly and warmly with parents
- Participating in school-wide programming, events, and professional development
Qualifications
- Degree in Education, Judaic Studies, or a related field (preferred)
- Prior classroom teaching experience
- Hebrew fluency (reading and basic speaking)
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Familiarity with Sephardic minhagim a plus
- Warm, enthusiastic, and nurturing personality
