Position: Japanese Teacher at Pinnacle School

As a Japanese Teacher, you will craft an immersive language experience that fosters communication skills, cultural awareness, and confidence through engaging, tailored instruction. Support students with diverse learning needs while nurturing curiosity and growth within a collaborative school community.

📝 What You'll Need

• Bachelor's degree in education, special education, Japanese, or a related field; Master's preferred
• Valid Connecticut teaching certification in World Language, Special Education, or eligibility to obtain certification
• Minimum of two years experience teaching students with language-based learning differences
• Experience with IEP development, progress monitoring, and data collection
• Strong communication skills with a collaborative, flexible, and student-centered approach

• Design and deliver immersive Japanese language lessons that develop practical communication skills
• Adapt instruction to meet each student's diverse learning, social, and emotional needs
