We are seeking a skilled bilingual professional to facilitate communication and translation within our international automotive parts manufacturing facility near Douglasville, GA.

Responsibilities of the Japanese / English Translator / Interpreter

• Translate documents, emails, and correspondence to ensure clear communication across languages.
• Conduct multicultural communication in both office and factory settings to promote understanding.
• Assist with executive meetings involving upper management, clients, and stakeholders.
• Respond to administrative inquiries and provide timely assistance.
• Coordinate and schedule meetings and appointments for associates and managers.
• Enter data into databases utilizing Microsoft Office tools such as Excel.
• Facilitate cross-department communication and reporting to ensure smooth operations.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support our team.

Qualifications of the Ideal Candidate

• Fluent in Japanese and English (Speaking, Writing, Reading)
• Minimum of 1 year experience as an Interpreter or Translator, preferably in a manufacturing environment
• Associate’s degree in Business Administration, Japanese, or related field, or equivalent experience
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to foster a positive team atmosphere
• Adaptability and flexibility to work effectively with diverse groups in a multicultural setting
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in multiple formats
• Ability to multitask efficiently and meet deadlines
• Team-oriented, detail-oriented, responsible, punctual, and self-motivated
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
