Job Description

As a Japanese Bilingual Senior Tax or Accounting Specialist, your duties will depend on your experience and skills, focusing primarily on one of the following areas:

Accounting

• Execute audit engagements for corporate clients following applicable standards
• Provide accounting advisory and consulting services to major clients, supporting complex issues
• Support in-house accounting functions such as bookkeeping, financial closing, and reporting
• Assist in preparing and reviewing financial statements and disclosures
• Collaborate with engagement teams to deliver high-quality client service under tight deadlines
• Perform other accounting, audit, and advisory tasks as needed

Tax

• Deliver corporate tax compliance and advisory services
• Prepare and review corporate tax returns and related filings
• Assist with individual tax compliance, including preparation and advisory
• Support clients' in-house tax accounting functions and reporting requirements
• Research and analyze tax regulations, providing practical solutions to complex issues
• Collaborate with teams to ensure top-quality tax services to key clients

Qualifications & Requirements

• Language: Japanese and English bilingual (Read/Write/Speak/Listen) required 🎌🇺🇸
• Experience: Minimum 3 years in accounting-related roles, including:
  • Audit at an accounting firm
  • Accounting consulting at a consulting firm
  • In-house accounting or finance at a corporate organization
  • Tax accounting for corporate clients

Preferred Qualifications

• Partial completion of CPA examinations or CPA certification
• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
