Position Summary 🎯
We are looking for a motivated, bilingual (Japanese-English) Associate or Manager to support our Tax & Deal Advisory practice and overall firm operations. This is a part-time role with the potential for full-time transition based on performance, ideal for candidates resident in Georgia (GA), Michigan (MI), or Texas (TX).
Key Responsibilities 📋
- Assist with tax and deal advisory projects, including NMTC and investment incentive programs.
- Support partner communications, scheduling, and administrative coordination.
- Conduct research and analysis related to financial incentives, regulations, and client deliverables.
- Provide general affairs and administrative support across departments.
- Coordinate business trips and external meetings as needed.
- Prepare and translate documents between Japanese and English.
- Interpret during partner meetings, client visits, and sales presentations.
- Support client relationship management, including communications and follow-ups.
- Drive partners or clients during business trips and local visits as required.
Qualifications 🎓
- Native-level proficiency in Japanese and fluent English.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Economics, or related field (preferred).
- No prior experience necessary; highly motivated recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Must reside in GA, MI, or TX.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel by air up to 50%.
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a professional setting.
Location & Employment Details 📍
Office Location Options: Atlanta, GA; Troy, MI; or Houston, TX — based on candidate preference and business needs.
Employment Terms:
- Part-time initially for 3 months (full-time possible based on performance, not applicable at manager level)
- Hourly Rate: Starting at $25+ (commensurate with experience)
- Remote work permitted until further notice
- Field visits and business trips required as needed
- Visa or Green Card sponsorship available for qualified candidates
