Responsibilities

  • Accurately interpret and translate: convey the original tone and intent during conversations and written documentation.
  • Build strong relationships: connect effectively with parents, students, and school staff.
  • Manage time efficiently: handle multiple assignments within expected timeframes.
  • Engage with clients: communicate virtually, over the phone, and in person, attending meetings punctually.
  • Continual Learning: develop educational vocabulary and participate in professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Language proficiency: fluent in both English and Korean (speaking, reading, and writing).
  • Experience: interpreting and translating in English and Korean.
  • Travel ability: willing to travel to school sites in Suffolk County and Nassau County, NY.
  • Remote work setup: access to strong Wi-Fi and required equipment.
  • Availability: Monday through Friday assignments.
