Position: Intake Representative Bilingual Spanish Speaking 🌟

We are seeking a passionate On-Site Intake Representative who is fluent in Spanish and eager to contribute to transformative care in the New York area. This role offers weekly pay between $21.00 - $23.00 per hour, with office hours from Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm.

📝 Responsibilities

What You'll Do:

  • 🔹 Receive referrals from referral sources
  • 🔹 Verify patients’ insurance coverage to determine eligibility
  • 🔹 Educate patients on available services
  • 🔹 Assist patients with scheduling assessments necessary for care eligibility, including NYIA (Maximus)
  • 🔹 Submit referrals to MLTC plans for potential enrollment
  • 🔹 Determine services approved by insurance providers
  • 🔹 Ensure agency receives authorization for MLTC cases and coordinate case details with the HHA team

🎓 Qualifications

What You'll Bring:

  • 🗣️ Strong communication skills, both oral and written
  • 🤝 Excellent interpersonal skills
  • 💻 Intermediate computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, HHAexchange, and Salesforce.com
  • ⚡ Ability to key information quickly and accurately

Education & Experience:

  • 🎓 High School diploma or GED required
  • 🗓️ Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in Customer Service or telephone sales

🧍 Physical Requirements

  • 🪑 Sedentary work—ability to remain seated for extended periods
  • 🗣️ Effective communication skills for clear information exchange
