Job Description

Brooklyn Global Prep is seeking passionate Spanish, French, or Mandarin-speaking teachers for our infant/toddler and preschool programs. We are also considering English-only speaking teachers for our infant/toddler groups.

Responsibilities

• 👩‍🏫 Collaborate with fellow teachers to create engaging, hands-on learning experiences.
• 🌱 Introduce children to diverse educational opportunities that foster self-expression, communication, logical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• 🧸 Care for young children by ensuring safety, cleanliness, and constant monitoring.
• ✔️ Maintain compliance with city and state regulations at all times.
• 📋 Perform additional duties as required for this role.

Qualifications & Requirements

• 🍼 Experience working in an infant/toddler classroom.
• 🈳 Fluent in Spanish, French, or Mandarin Chinese.
• 👶 Experience caring for children aged 0-1.5 years.
• 💪 Ability to meet physical demands, including lifting children and engaging in year-round physical activities.
• 🧼 Capable of maintaining a clean and sanitized classroom and materials.
• 🎵 Playing an instrument is a plus but not necessary.
• 🎓 Holding NYS Birth - 2 Certification, Child Development Associate (CDA), degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE), or being enrolled in school is preferred.
• 🩺 Certifications in CPR, First Aid, and Mental Health are appreciated but not mandatory.
