The Role: Industrials and Energy US/Japan Corridor Executive

Must be bilingual in Japanese and English. This role involves driving growth strategies across EY’s most strategic accounts, industry sectors, solutions, and services, fostering market leadership through a client-centric approach.

The Opportunity

In this position, you will:

  • Focus on specific account(s) with high growth potential 📈
  • Deliver exceptional client service by understanding client challenges and leveraging EY capabilities 🤝
  • Originate and pursue new business opportunities to grow revenue 💼
  • Drive global account strategy, comprehensive planning, and relationship development across client organizations 🌍

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a Business Development Executive, delivering sales impact through personal contribution, client relationships, pipeline management, and sales excellence 🎯
  • Spend approximately 80% of your time externally engaging with clients, with remaining time on strategy and account planning 🕒
  • Develop and implement sales and growth strategies in collaboration with account teams and sector or solutions groups 🤝

Qualifications

  • 15+ years of experience in business development/sales within professional services and solutions 🏢
  • Japanese national with experience working with international Japanese companies 🇯🇵
  • Experience in manufacturing and leading transformation programs 🏭
  • Knowledge of the consulting sales cycle, EY service lines, and digital/technology solutions 💻
  • Proven success selling complex solutions to C-level executives globally 🌎
  • Strategic account management experience and strong client relationship skills 💼
  • Understanding of market trends, industry landscape, and operational procedures 📊
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience 🎓
