Company Overview 🏢

We are a rapidly expanding Chinese restaurant group operating multiple brands and locations across the U.S. Our team focuses on building strong operations, consistent execution, and long-term growth. We seek a results-driven HR Supervisor who understands the fast-paced reality of the restaurant industry.

Position Summary 🎯

The HR Supervisor will lead and manage all core HR functions including recruitment, compensation & benefits, performance management, and training. This role emphasizes system building, problem solving, and delivering tangible results over administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities 🔑

1. Recruitment (Critical Priority) 📝

  • Develop and implement hiring plans aligned with store operations and new openings
  • Lead recruitment for key roles: store managers, supervisors, kitchen staff, and corporate team
  • Enhance job descriptions, screening, and interview processes
  • Manage recruitment channels such as Indeed, employee referrals, and agencies
  • Track metrics like applicant flow, interview rate, offer acceptance, and onboarding success

2. Compensation & Benefits 💰

  • Review and optimize salary structures across roles
  • Provide market-based and performance-based compensation recommendations
  • Support development of incentive and bonus programs
  • Continuously enhance employee benefits to improve retention

3. Performance Management 📊

  • Create and refine performance evaluation systems for all roles
  • Collaborate with department leaders to set clear, measurable goals
  • Ensure performance reviews are meaningful and effective
  • Leverage performance data to recognize top talent and identify areas for improvement

4. Training & Development 🎓

  • Design and implement training programs for new hires, management, and cross-department skills
  • Enhance employee capabilities and operational consistency
  • Ensure training translates into actual improvements in performance and teamwork

5. HR Team & Operations 🛠️

  • Manage the HR Specialist and oversee quality of HR execution
  • Maintain systems for tracking recruitment, employee data, training, and performance
  • Identify HR-related risks and develop practical solutions

Qualifications ✅

  • Minimum of 5+ years in HR, with at least 2 years in a leadership or autonomous role
  • Experience within the restaurant, hospitality, or multi-location operations preferred
  • Proven track record in successful hiring and HR system improvements
  • Strong execution and implementation mindset
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills
  • Fluent in Mandarin and English (required)
  • Knowledge of U.S. labor laws and compliance is a plus

Compensation & Growth 💵📈
