Join Our Team as an HR Coordinator – Human Resources

Looking for an exciting opportunity to make an impact in a high-volume distribution center? We’re seeking a dedicated HR Coordinator to support our dynamic workforce and contribute to our company’s success!

Schedule

Monday – Thursday: 8:30 AM - 6:30 PM

Position Summary

As an HR Coordinator, you will provide essential HR support to a busy distribution center team, ensuring efficient merchandise processing and distribution in a safe, cost-effective, and customer-focused environment. Collaborate with a team of HR professionals to foster talent acquisition, internal movements, and employee retention within the organization.

  • 💼 Ensure exemplary customer service by handling associate inquiries related to policies, leaves, pay issues, and administrative functions efficiently and innovatively.
  • 🗣️ Promote open communication through active engagement and reinforce AEO’s Open Door Policy. Provide bilingual translation support in Spanish and English.
  • 🔍 Support Talent Acquisition processes for DC hourly associates, serving as a subject-matter expert for staffing strategies and tools.
  • 🎓 Facilitate new hire onboarding, including orientation and updates in HRIS and timekeeping systems.
  • 🤖 Manage vendor relations for contingent labor staffing, including processing temp-to-hire conversions.
  • 📊 Use workforce planning tools and metrics to advise on staffing needs and challenges.
  • 🔄 Handle internal promotions, lateral moves, interest-to-move processes, and shift transfers.
  • 📝 Assist departments with administrative tasks such as maintaining personnel files, ensuring data privacy, and supporting benefits enrollment and surveys.
  • 🚧 Promote a high level of employee morale and safety across the organization.
  • 🛠️ Perform other duties as assigned to support the HR team and organization’s goals.

Qualifications

  • 🎓 Associates degree or relevant experience required; a Bachelor's in Human Resources or related field is preferred.
  • 📅 Minimum of 2+ years Human Resources experience is preferred.
  • 🌐 Bilingual skills in English and Spanish required; professional translation experience is a plus.
  • 🤝 Excellent interpersonal, oral, and business communication skills, including professional phone presence.
  • ⏱️ Ability to work under deadlines with meticulous attention to detail, organization, and accurate reporting.
  • 💻 Proficiency in MS Office Suite, Google Workspace, and internet applications.
  • ⏰ Flexibility to work additional hours as needed to meet organizational demands.

  • Salary: Starting pay varies based on experience, location, and other factors.
