About Maxcare Hospice

At Maxcare Hospice, we believe hospice care extends beyond medical treatment — it’s about compassion, dignity, comfort, and connecting on a human level. We are seeking a caring and spiritually grounded Hospice Chaplain to offer emotional and spiritual support during life’s most pivotal moments.

Position Highlights 🌟

• Provide spiritual care, emotional support, and grief guidance with a compassionate presence
• Support patients and families from diverse faiths, cultures, and backgrounds
• Collaborate with our interdisciplinary hospice care team
• Participate in care planning, memorial support, and bereavement initiatives
• Utilize EMR/EHR systems and digital communication tools — HospiceMD is the platform used for all charting and documentation

Qualifications 🎓

• Experience in chaplaincy, ministry, hospice, healthcare, counseling, or spiritual care
• Bilingual Vietnamese & English skills are highly preferred
• Additional language skills, including Spanish, are a plus
• Strong compassionate communication and active listening skills
• Comfortable working in an interfaith and multicultural environment
• Tech-savvy with experience in EMR systems, Microsoft Office/Google Workspace, and digital platforms
• Experience with AI tools, CRM, or workflow automation is advantageous
• Dependable, organized, team-oriented, and compassionate
• Valid California Driver’s License and reliable transportation
