Position: Homebound Companion Volunteer (Cantonese/Mandarin)

About the Role

Queens Community House is seeking compassionate volunteers for our Friendly Visiting Program. This program connects volunteers with homebound older adults, providing companionship and support right in their own homes.

Responsibilities

• Visit older adults at their homes to offer companionship and support 😊
• Assist with technology, such as smartphones or computers 💻
• Build meaningful relationships and reduce feelings of isolation ❤️

Ideal Candidates

• Are 18 years or older
• Are fluent in Cantonese or Mandarin
• Can commit to volunteering for at least six months
