Position Summary

🚨 This position is pending contract award. AGI is looking for a dedicated Hindi Language Instructor to join our team in supporting a government project.

Requirements

Essential Responsibilities

• 👩‍🏫 Teach adult professionals using current strategies tailored to diverse learner profiles (age, gender, education, motivation, rank, socioeconomic background, etc.).
• 🎯 Conduct instruction and assessments across proficiency levels from ILR level 0 up to ILR 3+.
• 📚 Adapt authentic and traditional materials using the Interagency Language Roundtable descriptors to meet student needs.
• 🎥 Integrate multimedia tools such as audio, video, and computer-assisted instruction into lessons.
• 🌐 Explain cultural, technical, and military concepts, vocabulary, and terms relevant to each lesson plan.

Qualifications

• ✅ Minimum five years of experience teaching a foreign language.
• 🎓 Bachelor’s degree in language instruction or related fields such as History, Political Science, International Relations, Anthropology, Archeology, or Cultural Geography.
• 📝 Experience in Instructional Design or certification in Instructional Systems Development (ISD).
• 🌎 Solid regional expertise and knowledge of foreign language teaching techniques and instructional systems.
• 🧠 Deep understanding of learning theories, educational psychology, and curriculum development.
• 💻 Proficiency with web-based interactive course delivery systems.
• 👩‍🏫 Skilled in instructor facilitation and faculty development.
• 🎬 Experience with multimedia design and delivery methods, including embedded videos.
• 💼 Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat Professional, and relevant productivity tools.

Preferred Qualifications

• 🎖️ Experience teaching foreign languages to military students.

Work Environment

⏰ Typically a 9-5 schedule or as required by the client.

Pay Range

💰 Compensation will be commensurate with factors such as education, experience, location, and market data, determined by AGI.
