About Home Care Services

Home Care Services, a busy and expanding home care agency based in Brooklyn, is currently seeking compassionate and dependable bilingual Russian-speaking Home Health Aides (HHAs) for a substantial case in Staten Island, NY.

Home Health Aide Responsibilities

• Enable patients to remain safely in their homes by monitoring and recording patient conditions, providing support services, and assisting families.
• Observe and report physical and mental condition changes, intake and output, and exercise routines.
• Perform housekeeping, laundry, meal preparation, grocery shopping, and errands.
• Assist patients with personal care including bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene.
• Support patient independence by teaching the use of walkers, canes, and adaptive equipment.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and healthy home environment following agency policies and procedures.
• Record patient information accurately and notify nursing supervisors of any unusual conditions or concerns.
• Follow all professional standards, agency policies, and federal/state regulations.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bilingual Russian-speaking required
• Valid New York State HHA Certification

Education, Experience & Licensing Requirements

• Valid New York State HHA Certification
• Minimum of 1 year professional or personal caregiving supporting individuals with disabilities, mental illness, or challenging behaviors

• $19.65 per hour
• Overtime pay after 40 hours: $29.47 per hour
