Tribeca Language Is Hiring A French Tutor For Kids

About the Role

We are looking for enthusiastic, experienced, and playful native French speakers who enjoy working with children. This part-time, flexible contract (1099) position involves in-person sessions across Manhattan, Brooklyn, and Queens.

Who You Are: The Ideal Candidate

• Native French speaker
• Warm, dynamic, and engaging personality 😊
• Experience teaching young children (ages 1–10)
• Comfortable adapting lessons for different ages and goals
• Creative and passionate about making language learning playful and interactive 🎨
• Reliable, organized, with excellent communication skills
• Certification in Early Childhood Education or related field is a strong plus

Responsibilities

• Design and lead fun, engaging French lessons (private and group classes)
• Tailor lessons based on age, level, and individual needs
• Maintain children's focus and curiosity through songs, stories, and play-based activities
• Track attendance and submit brief reports & progress updates
• Collaborate with our team to ensure quality and consistency

Location & Flexibility

• Sessions are held at students’ homes or our Tribeca location 🗽
• Flexible scheduling to match your availability
• In-home classes may be in Manhattan, Brooklyn, or Queens

Requirements

• At least 2+ years of teaching or tutoring experience
• Background in education or early childhood a major plus
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
