About the Role 🧳
The Executive Travel Consultant at Amex GBT is dedicated to delivering exceptional travel experiences for our corporate clients. Working within a high-performing, specialized team from home, you will provide personalized support and top-tier customer service, ensuring client relationships and travel solutions are managed with creativity and expertise using cutting-edge tools and technology.
What You'll Do on a Typical Day 📅
- Manage all domestic and international travel reservations, including flights, trains, ground transportation, and hotels, whether simple or complex, via Sabre.
- Provide consultative advice, tailored solutions, and recommendations to VIP clients, always respecting their travel policies and preferences.
- Operate in a multi-channel environment, taking responsibility for key performance indicators such as customer satisfaction, productivity, and strategic partnerships.
- Respond effectively to customer requests through phone and email, maintaining excellent relationships.
- Proactively suggest additional services like hotel bookings and car rentals to enhance the travel experience.
- Demonstrate enthusiasm and energy within the team, always adhering to company ethics, values, and compliance standards.
- Follow all Amex GBT policies and procedures diligently.
What We're Looking For 🔍
- Proficiency in both Canadian French and English.
- Extensive knowledge of booking practices and policies for flights, hotels, cars, and trains at both national and international levels.
- High-end executive customer service experience.
- Over 5 years of experience as a corporate travel advisor.
- Sabre proficiency is a plus.
- Strong understanding of fares and ticketing rules globally.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A passion for delivering exceptional customer service with meticulous attention to detail.
- Integrity in handling personal and confidential traveler information.
- Proficiency with basic computer tools and multitasking across multiple applications.
Work Schedule & Location 🕒🌎
The successful candidate must be available to work Monday through Friday, from 5:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Pacific Time. This schedule may vary depending on client hours.
Location: United States (Remote)
Compensation 💰
The annual base salary range for this role is from $46,900 to $87,100, with actual pay determined based on experience, skills, and location. For more details, please review our Benefits-at-a-Glance document.
