We are seeking a dedicated Bilingual French Customer Service Agent for a REMOTE position, providing essential support to clients in the financial services sector. If you excel at communication and enjoy helping customers resolve issues, this role is perfect for you!

Role Overview 📝

As a Customer Service Representative, your primary focus will be to assist customers with auto leases and loans regarding their insurance, addressing inefficiencies such as cancellations, missed payments, or missing documentation. You will act as a liaison on behalf of well-known insurance companies (Capital One, GM, BMW, Audi, Credit Unions, etc.) to gather necessary information and ensure all insurance requirements are met.

Note: This role involves all informative calls—no sales or collections involved.

Daily Responsibilities 🚗💬

• Make approximately 14 calls per hour, working exclusively on the phone all day
• Verify insurance details with agents (e.g., checking deduction amounts)
• Upload and update information on the company's internal website
• Leave scripted messages when insurance agents are unavailable (using approved client messages)

Shift Details & Compensation 💼💰

Shift: French-speaking, 10:30 AM - 7:00 PM CST

Starting Pay: $16/hour, increasing to $17/hour after 6-9 months

Training & Transition 🏫🔄

The first 3 weeks involve comprehensive training from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, including classroom instruction, shadowing, and live call handling with listening staff. An end-of-week assessment (pass at 80%) is required to transition to the full shift. Failing the assessment grants a one-week window to re-qualify; otherwise, the assignment may be terminated.

Required Skills & Qualifications ✅

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Ability to type at least 30 WPM
• Minimum of 1+ year experience in customer service, including retail, call centers, offices, data entry, or restaurants
• Comfortable being on the phones all day
• Maintains a positive attitude

Job Details & Location 📍

This is a Contract-to-Hire position based out of Baton Rouge, LA, and is fully remote.
