Job Overview

We're seeking a dedicated and professional interpreter to bridge communication gaps between non-English speaking patients and healthcare professionals in a fully remote setting. If you meet the qualifications and are committed to patient confidentiality, we'd love to hear from you!

📝 Duties

• Accurately interpret messages between non-English speaking patients and healthcare providers or support personnel on-site.
• Adhere to the National Standards of Practice for Interpreters in Healthcare and the National Code of Ethics for Interpreters in Healthcare.
• Maintain patient confidentiality at all times.

🎯 Qualifications Needed

• Minimum of 3 years interpreting experience (preferable).
• National or State Interpreter Certification such as CHI, CMI, NIC, CI/CT, VQAS (if available in your language).
• Strong command of Medical, Educational, and Social Services terminology in both source and target languages.
• At least 40 hours of interpreter training.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, customer service orientation, time management, and basic computer skills.
• Demonstrated fluency in English and the target language. Provide fluency test results.
• Own a working computer with specific requirements, a functioning headset, and a dedicated, high-speed internet connection.
• Work in a confidential, clean, and quiet call environment.
