About the Role

Your Journey Starts Here 🚀
Begin with our industry’s best Flight Attendant training program:
- Duration: 6.5 weeks in Houston, TX
- Training Focus: United's safety and service standards
- Base Assignment: In one of seven hubs — Chicago, Denver, Houston, Los Angeles, Newark, San Francisco, Washington Dulles, or other locations (relocation funds not provided)
- Post-Training: Attend base orientation and become a full-time United employee
During training, you'll receive:
- Stipend: $140 per week
- Accommodations: Dual occupancy hotel, breakfast, and lunch or dinner

Qualifications & Requirements ✅
- At least 21 years old at application
- High school diploma or GED; college experience preferred
- Minimum one year customer service experience in retail, hospitality, food service, teaching, aviation, or social services
- Clear, concise, and organized communication skills, especially in emergencies
- Fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking, listening)
- Fluent in German (reading, writing, speaking, listening)
- Ability to hear all types of sounds
- Ability to effectively communicate during high-stress situations
- Professional appearance, grooming standards, and willingness to follow uniform, tattoo, and piercing guidelines
- Tattoos: Permitted on arms, wrists, legs, and feet; not on head, hands, fingers, neck, or behind ears. Tattoos must be appropriately sized and non-offensive.
- No decorative oral adornments or jewelry in the mouth
- Proficiency with electronic devices (phones, tablets, laptops)
- Valid U.S. or foreign passport with at least 12 months remaining, in good condition, with two blank pages
- Ability to travel globally without restrictions to all United-served countries
