Qualifications & Requirements

Education: High School Diploma or GED required

• Experience: 1-2 years in caregiving environments such as in-home care, assisted living, memory care, hospitals, or rehab centers. Certified CNA, MA, LVN preferred.
• Background Check: Ability to pass a thorough background screening ✔️
• Transportation: Valid driver’s license, insured and reliable vehicle, with proof of insurance 🚗
• Certifications: Current TB or Chest X-ray and CPR certification (must be obtained upon hire) 🩺
• Gender Preference: Female caregiver preferred for this position (HCA) 🚺

Schedule & Primary Duties

Schedule: Immediate start, ongoing basis, daily from 9:00 AM to 2:30 PM ⏰

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assist with daily activities such as dressing, grooming, and meal preparation (specifically for a male client with Parkinson's)
• Provide medication reminders, run errands, and perform light housekeeping including laundry
• Assist with personal care and hygiene: bathing, dressing, mobility support, incontinence care, feeding, etc.
• Use gait belts and walkers for safe transfer assistance
• Transport clients to medical appointments and errands 🏥🚗
• Cook Chinese food — Cantonese-speaking female caregiver preferred 🍜
