About The Role

The Family Crisis Worker provides on-call crisis intervention, safety assessment, and referrals to victims of domestic violence, collaborating with hospital units during non-program hours.

Key Responsibilities

• Conducts safety assessments and provides domestic violence education and emotional support to victims.
• Develops safety plans with victims and connects them to resources.
• Communicates with medical staff regarding victims' statuses and referrals.

Requirements

• Education: High School diploma/GED preferred
• Experience: 1 to 3 years working with domestic violence victims
