Position Summary

This remote, bilingual (Spanish) role is vital in supporting our families’ needs. You'll assist with applying for public benefits such as Medicaid and food stamps, and guide families through utilizing their health insurance effectively. The Member Support Specialist navigates state systems efficiently and helps families through the sometimes confusing process of benefits application and usage.

Key Responsibilities

• Member Support: Respond to calls and texts from family members, guiding them through benefit applications and answering questions.
• State Benefit Assistance: Use healthcare-specific systems to process applications and verify benefits (no prior experience needed).
• Document Management: Collect and upload members’ documents securely.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (some college preferred)
• 1–3 years of experience in call centers, customer service, or data processing
• Familiarity with Medicaid systems and processes a plus!
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Proficiency with tools like Google Workspace, Slack, and Zendesk
• Reside in TX, PA, MD, NJ, DC, or NC

Compensation 💰

Full-Time: $18-21 per hour
