Export and Byproduct Sales Manager 🚢🌱

Role Overview

We are seeking a results-driven sales leader to drive international expansion and boost profitability through strategic partnerships. This role involves identifying export opportunities globally, building strong partner relationships, and strategizing to optimize sales of primary products and byproducts. Success depends on market insight, negotiation skills, and navigating complex global trade environments.

What You'll Do 🔍💼

  • Drive revenue and margins: Negotiate and execute agreements with major international customers.
  • Expand relationships: Develop new export client relationships and grow existing partnerships within national accounts.
  • Account management: Maintain strong client relationships through consistent communication and advocacy.
  • Lead strategic initiatives: Increase global demand and awareness of export capabilities.
  • Market analysis: Monitor industry trends to inform pricing, positioning, and business development strategies.
  • Collaborate internally: Work with Sales, Scheduling, FSQA, Shipping, and Finance to ensure smooth export operations.
  • Financial coordination: Partner with AR to manage invoicing and collections for international accounts.
  • Customer business plans: Create and implement plans to ensure long-term profitability and performance.
  • Representation: Attend trade shows and customer meetings as needed to promote the company.

What We're Looking For 🎯🌍

  • Minimum 3 years in global sales or strategic account management.
  • Proven success in negotiating and closing complex deals across sectors.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience in international trade or export sales (preferred).
  • Strong understanding of financial principles to support decision-making.
  • Proven success in customer-facing and commercially focused roles.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish.
  • Experience specifically in PROTEIN sales.

Travel 🚗✈️

Occasional travel, up to 25%, for trade shows, client visits, and company meetings.
