Job Overview

As a vital member of our team, you will assist individuals across various settings such as home care, assisted living, and group homes. Your language skills will bridge communication gaps, helping clients feel understood, respected, and cared for. This role offers an exciting opportunity to support seniors, individuals with developmental disabilities, and those experiencing memory loss or dementia. Responsibilities 📝

• Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs): bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
• Monitor health: check vital signs and observe for any changes
• Prepare nutritious meals: tailored to dietary needs and preferences
• Administer medications: accurately following care plans & HIPAA regulations
• Support memory care patients: Alzheimer's and dementia strategies
• Use specialized equipment: Hoyer lifts and resident lifts for safe transfers
• Maintain documentation: detailed records of care activities and patient progress
• Patient monitoring: identify early signs of health issues or behavioral changes
• Light cleaning duties: uphold a safe and hygienic environment
• Collaborate with healthcare teams: develop and implement personalized care plans

Requirements ✔️

• Language proficiency: Fluent in Urdu or Hindi with excellent verbal communication skills in both
• Experience: Working with individuals with disabilities or in senior care settings (assisted living, nursing homes)
• Certifications: Knowledge of first aid, CPR, and basic nursing skills (vital signs, medication administration)
• Specialized experience: Dementia, Alzheimer’s, hospice, or home health care is highly desirable
• Physical ability: Safely perform heavy lifting using equipment like Hoyer lifts when needed
• Regulation awareness: Familiarity with HIPAA to ensure patient confidentiality
• Observational skills: Ability to monitor patients and report changes promptly
• Empathy & interpersonal skills: Connect effectively with clients from diverse backgrounds
