Job Overview

We are actively seeking a compassionate and experienced Urdu/Hindi-speaking caregiver to join our team. In this vital role, you will deliver personalized care and support to clients in various settings, including home care, assisted living, and group homes. Your language skills will help bridge communication gaps, ensuring clients feel understood, respected, and cared for.

Duties & Responsibilities

• 🛁 Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
• 📈 Monitor patient health by checking vital signs and observing for any changes in condition
• 🍎 Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and preferences
• 💊 Administer medications accurately following care plans and HIPAA regulations to ensure privacy and safety
• 🧠 Support patients with memory care needs, including Alzheimer's and dementia care strategies
• ⚙️ Use specialized equipment like Hoyer lifts or resident lifts to ensure safe transfers and mobility assistance
• 📝 Maintain detailed documentation of care activities, patient progress, and incident reports
• 👁️ Engage in patient monitoring to identify early signs of health issues or behavioral changes
• 🧹 Perform light cleaning duties to uphold a safe and hygienic environment
• 🤝 Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement personalized care plans

Requirements & Qualifications

• 🗣️ Fluent in Urdu or Hindi with excellent verbal communication skills in both languages
• 🔹 Prior experience working with individuals with disabilities or in senior care settings such as assisted living or nursing homes
• 🩹 Knowledge of first aid, CPR certification, and basic nursing skills including vital signs monitoring and medication administration
• 🧓 Experience with dementia or Alzheimer's care, hospice care, or home health environments is highly desirable
• 🚀 Ability to perform heavy lifting safely using equipment like Hoyer lifts when necessary
• 🔒 Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to uphold patient confidentiality
• 🔍 Strong observational skills for patient monitoring and prompt reporting of changes
• ❤️ Compassionate attitude with excellent interpersonal skills to connect effectively with clients from diverse backgrounds
