🌟 Key Responsibilities

• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs): bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
• Monitor health: check vital signs and observe for changes in condition
• Prepare nutritious meals: tailored to individual dietary needs and preferences
• Administer medications: accurately following care plans and HIPAA regulations to ensure privacy and safety
• Support memory care: including strategies for Alzheimer’s and dementia
• Use specialized equipment: such as Hoyer lifts or resident lifts for safe transfers and mobility assistance
• Maintain detailed documentation: of care activities, patient progress, and incident reports
• Engage in patient monitoring: to detect early signs of health issues or behavioral changes
• Perform light cleaning duties: to uphold a safe and hygienic environment
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals: to develop and execute personalized care plans

📝 Requirements

• Language proficiency: Fluent in Urdu or Hindi with excellent verbal communication skills in both
• Experience: Prior work with individuals with disabilities or in senior care settings such as assisted living or nursing homes
• Certifications: Knowledge of first aid, CPR, and basic nursing skills including vital signs monitoring and medication administration
• Specialized care experience: Dementia or Alzheimer’s care, hospice, or home health experience highly preferred
• Physical ability: Capable of heavy lifting safely with equipment like Hoyer lifts when needed
• Regulatory knowledge: Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality
• Observational skills: Strong ability to monitor patients and report changes promptly
• Compassion and interpersonal skills: To connect effectively with clients from diverse backgrounds
