Position: Citizens Bankers

Starting Salary: $25 / hour and up

  • Utilize your strong communication and problem-solving skills along with broad financial knowledge to recommend solutions for spending, saving, borrowing, and investing.
  • Get to know customers’ personal financial goals and tailor recommendations to help them succeed—whether planning for the future, buying a home, or opening a credit card.
  • Introduce customers to digital and mobile banking options, such as our app and ATMs.
  • Collaborate with Wealth Management, Mortgage, and Business Banking teams to address more complex financial needs.
  • Make outbound calls to acquire new customers and schedule financial checkups, understanding clients' current needs and future potential.
  • Follow all financial policies, including proper cash handling and adherence to laws and regulations.

Required Qualifications ✅

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Bilingual proficiency in Mandarin
  • Previous banking experience
  • Minimum 2 years in sales and customer service, with proven goal achievement
  • Effective questioning skills to identify customer needs
  • Experience building relationships and recommending products in person and over the phone
  • Digital technology proficiency to support business goals
  • Strong problem-solving skills and solution-oriented mindset
  • Ability to collaborate with team members and business partners
  • Self-motivated, confident, and multitask effectively
  • Availability to work branch hours, including weekends and evenings
  • Compliance with SAFE Act requirements, including screening and NMLS registration
  • Completion of a video interview assessment within 7 days of application

Preferred Skills and Experience 🌟

  • At least 1 year of cash handling experience

Work Schedule & Location 🕒📍

  • Hours per Week: 40
  • Schedule: Varies based on branch needs, may include weekends and evenings
  • Location: Flushing, Queens

Compensation & Benefits 💰

Salary Range: $28.75 - $35.38 per hour
